Designtex Made to Measure

Jeffrey Fisher

Jeffrey Fisher (1952) is an illustrator whose work has appeared in The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe and Time magazine, as well as an author and illustrator of several books. He was born in Melbourne, launched his career in London, and now lives in idyllic Fontainebleau, a forested commune outside of central Paris. Jeffrey proudly maintains his Australian, outsider perspective and his openness to very diverse artistic influences—from Aboriginal art to the mercurial oeuvre of Francis Picabia. In his own work, he strives for variety in style and technique, maintaining throughout his strong draftsmanship and design sense—and his dark wit.
