Prismatic features images of Phillip Low’s acrylic sculpture, shot in natural light. These pieces are one-of-a-kind, varying in shape, size and color. Made from sheets of colored acrylic laminated onto large acrylic blocks, they are then milled into geometric shapes. The outer surfaces are either polished or left rough and matte, changing the way light passes through them. They are truly interactive, in the older, physical sense; moving a sculpture alters it, the volume, shape and color constantly shifting, the relationship with the observer and the environment changing as well.
